Of Thrifting and Sales

The quality of using money and other resources carefully and not wastefully”. “Thrifting refers to the act of shopping at a thrift store, flea market, garage sale, or a shop of a charitable organization, usually with the intent of finding interesting items at a cheap price.”

I don’t really shop anymore, I thrift! And that has become my mantra in the past 6 months. The only form of conventional shopping I do is the online one and I rarely spend all my money on sales. This is one of those times, which leaves me in quite a difficult position because: A. I’ve got at least two more weeks of survival till my next payment and B. I have a pathological need to thrift! Yes, thrifting and sales are pretty much addictive. And while I am very aware that shopping money is far from being a real problem in anyone’s life, while I do appreciate everything that I have and hold, I can’t stop myself from asking: – Should I buy that divine pair of boots I just saw online?
